This 7,000-acre park, the largest recreation area on the Blue Ridge Parkway, offers a lodge (Bluffs Lodge), campground, hiking trails, picnic areas. Includes the picturesque Brinegar Cabin and the Caudill Family Homestead, a dramatic exhibit of isolated mountain life. Cross Country skiing is allowed when the park is accessible. It has gently rolling terrain and numerous trails. Use of trails is free.
