Cherohala Skyway

For a beautiful perspective, travel the 41 mile Cherohala Skyway that connects Hwy 143 from Robbinsville to Hwy 165 in Tellico Plains, TN. Called a mini-Blue Ridge Parkway, it follows the crest of the Unicoi Mtns. in the Cherokee and Nantahala National Forest, thus the name. Highest point 5,390

Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center

Stecoah Valley Center provides local artisans working studios which are open for the public to visit. Classes are offered in authentic mountain crafts such as rug making, spinning, and weaving wood carving, dulcimer and other other mountain music. Culinary workshops offered 2
