Founded by Carolina Freight Carriers Corporation in 1982, the museum is housed in a historically preserved service station that was the original terminal location of Carolina Freight. The main exhibit center located next to the gas station features over 7,500 square feet of vintage trucks and trucking memorabilia dating back to 1927.
