Green Hill Center for North Carolina Art

category : Arts
Green Hill Center for North Carolina Art is a key resource for art and education within the community and throughout the state. A non-profit visual arts organization, it was founded in 1974 by artists and members of the community who felt a need for a gallery exclusively devoted to the art and fine craft of North Carolina. Green Hill?s mission is to present exhibitions that are statewide in scope and provide North Carolina artists in all media with a professional setting for exhibiting their work before the public. ArtQuest is Green Hill?s hands-on art studio and gallery for children and their families. Since 1996, ArtQuest and its outreach programs have provided countless opportunities for children to learn as they explore the processes of art. ArtQuest engages the curiosity and imagination of visitors of all ages as they express themselves. Green Hill: Tues. - Sat. 10a.m. - 5p.m.; Wednesday 10a.m. - 7p.m.; Sun. 2 ? 5.p.m. ArtQuest: Tues. ?
