Allison Woods is open by appointment at any time of the year with weekend educational and entertainment programs for the public, school group tours, children's day camps. Allison Woods promises its visitors a unique opportunity to explore and learn about nature and the native habitats of the Piedmont while enjoying the serenity of the hardwood forests and gardens. Allison Woods is also the site of Civil War reenactments and skirmishes as well as living history events and demonstrations.
