Chartered in 1874, Pine Level derived its name from the local fields of long-leaf pine trees. With an abundance of natural resources and the nearby railroad, a prosperous turpentine and lumber industry was soon established. Home to Hinnant Family Vineyards, Pine Level is located off I-95, just minutes from Exit 98.
