Located at Fort Robinson State Park at the University of Nebraska State Museum at Trailside, you can view paleontology and geology exhibits on Nebraska's rich fossil history. A 14-foot mammoth skeleton unearthed nearby rules the displays. See rare fossils from western Nebraska, including the giant mammoth, fossil rhino and giant tortoise. Participate in special demonstrations, such as flintknapping (chipping arrowheads), temporary exhibits and art shows. Field trips are available to Toadstool Park and regional tours can be arranged.

American West and Native American Art Gallery - Featuring work of local artists and Northern Plains Native Americans - landscapes, wildlife, traditional crafts, and historic and contemporary American West.
Flint knapping - Spring (first weekend in June), Summer (weekend before Labor Day), Winter (at Lincoln Gem and Mineral Show)
