New Shooting range facility located just northeast of Kearney on Highway 30 at the intersection of Poole Avenue and 115th Street. Open dates/times from March thru end of Nov 2008 are every Saturday afternoon, 1:00-4:00 p.m. for trap and skeet shooting. Sporting Clays and 5-Stand also generally available. 100M rifle/pistol range available during those times if range master present.

Published schedule for 2008 includes trap, skeet, 5-stand and sporting clay leagues. Open shooting available evenings any time range is open for leagues. Also offered are 4-H programs in smallbore rifle and shotgun as well as other youth trap teams.

FKSSA website is currently minimal, but to be upgraded in the near future. Charge is a per use fee for rifle/pistol range and a per round fee for shotgun and is dependent upon discipline shot. Non-members welcome. Fee is at a higher rate than charged to members.
