Midway Canyon Reservoir is a beautiful lake with 609 acres of great fishing available. The area is home to many species of fish including Channel and Flathead Catfish, Crappie, Drum, Walleye and White Bass. There is a 15" minimum on Walleye.
This is a wonderful area for the entire family to enjoy the day catching fish from shore or getting out onto the lake on your boat for fishing or water sports. All power boats are allowed on the lake.
This one room country school was built around the year 1880, on a site nine miles north and west of the City of Cozad on land owned at that time by David Adle and Christiana Frost Adle. This school was called "The Adle School" because it was on Adle land, although it should have been called "
