Franklin, Nebraska

The newly renovated Rose Bowl Theatre draws visitors to Franklin every weekend. Movies are shown four times a week, Saturday at 8:00 pm, Sunday at 5:00 and 8:00 pm, and Monday at 8:00 pm.

The theater is operated by a board and functions solely on volunteers. Many hours were spent by community volunteers to gut the building, sheetrock, paint, general overall cleaning and set-up to prepare the building for opening. Since that time, February 1992, several other projects have been completed to continue to update the theatre, including nearly new seats, new sound system, and beautiful murals on the walls, plus a new marquee and face lift on the front of the building.

The Rose Bowl Theatre is definitely something everyone in Franklin should be proud of.
