Alma - The Alma RV Park features 38 trailer spots with full hookups, including 30 OR 50 AMP hookups, water, sewer, cable TV and wireless internet in all spaces. 8 pull-through spots. Flush toilets, heated shower building and picnic tables are also available with the city sanitary dump station nearby. Although boat ramps are not located in the park they are nearby for convenient access to the west end of Harlan Lake.

Trailer spots can be rented nightly, weekly and monthly. - Currently $20 per night.

Orleans RV ParkOrleans - Orleans has a 10-pad campground with drinking water hydrants, a sanitary dump and flushing station, and electrical hookups.

There is no charge for camping or for hookups for three days' stay.

Oxford - The George R. Mitchell Park in Oxford is located near the scenic Republican River. There are camping facilities, a pond for fishing, baseball diamond and a picnic area. The RV park asks for a per-night camping donation.

How they manage to jump that high in the air, go that fast and still stay on those cycles defies gravity! Of course, not all do, which is part of the thrills, chills and spills of Cornhusker Moto Cross Circuit races held each April and September outside of Alma.

Part of Alma's Municipal Golf Course winds its way along the shoreline of Harlan County Lake. It has 9 holes, 2,993-yard par, with grass greens, a practice green, driving range and clubhouse. The course is open to the public except during tournaments.

Tubing and Canoeing

The Republican River is beautiful in the summer for canoeing or tubing. A run can be from Oxford to Orleans, or below Harlan County Dam to Bloomington. There are places along the river to set up an overnight campsite, or just enjoy an afternoon of fun on a lazy summer day.
