Legion Park brings mother nature to the city.

Visit Living Memorial Gardens, a recycling gardening project of a 1940 vintage municipal swimming pool. This is a Memorial created to loved ones by the planting of trees, shrubs or other living plants and to establish a monument to the part Sidney plays in American history. Ablaze with color in the summer, this is a panorama of beauty.

Legion Park also houses the War Memorial commemorating veterans from all American wars and one of the country's largest American flags which measures 20' x 38' on its 140' flagpole.

Potter Depot Museum

The UP depot was moved back to Potter in 1991. After much restoration, it was opened to the public in 1996. It houses UP Railroad memorabilia as well as an agricultural room and other items. It is open by appointment only as well as special events in Potter.
