The speedway itself, a racy half-mile D-shaped clay oval, plays host to some of the tightest, all-out wheel-to-wheel competition you'll ever witness. On average, close to 150 race cars, from modified, sportsman, super stock and SS Sprint, compete weekly at New Egypt, every Saturday night from April to October, plus a slate of high-profile midweek specials featuring some of the top national tours and biggest celebrity drivers in the business.
On the fans' side of the fence, the buzzword is 'interactive.' Theme nights, contests, games, prizes, even dancing in the aisles -- that's a typical Saturday night at New Egypt Speedway, where the fans are as much a part of the show as the competitors. Giveaways abound on any given night. And our Ralphie the Racer Kids' Club caters to the junior fan base, with structured activities, games and prizes, weekly pit tours, and a big ol' dog mascot joining in for the fun.
New Egypt Speedway has something for everyone -- from the hardcore race fan to the casual family outing.
