One of the most quintessential Las Vegas attractions, if only due to its overall strangeness, is King Tutankhamen's Tomb & Museum. Located at the Luxor Hotel, this exhibit is an authentic reproduction of the famous king's tomb even down to the most precise measurements. Although it may not be the real thing, visitors might as well think it is. The treasures of the king are also exactly replicated using methods that date back to 3,300 years such as gold leaf, precious pigments and tools. There is even a quixotic recreation of the actual sarcophagus of the king, which looks exactly the same as when the archaeologists unearthed it so many years ago.
So, instead of going to Egypt, this is the closest most people can come to actually being inside an ancient Egyptian tomb.
