Hiking on 9.5 mi. of trails, horse riding on 38 mi. of trails (bring your own horse) & mountain biking (closed til 3/15) on 7 mi. of dedicated trails. Picnic areas provide tables & grills. Nature programs provide entertainment all summer.
287 campsites with electric are available. Amenities include showers & restrooms. Pets are permitted on designated sites. Rent-A-RV, Cedar Cabin or Camper Cabin available. A horse camp is available by permit. A group camp is also available.
Alum Creek Lake offers a sand beach. All sorts of boating is permitted with no horsepower limit. The marina ((740) 548-6056) offers supplies, drinks & boat rental. 5 launch ramps provide easy access. Fishing can be enjoyed from the shoreline, accessible fishing pier or on the lake. Hunting is permitted in designated areas.
