The Massillon Museum, accredited by the AAM, features art exhibitions, often of a national caliber, and exhibitons of area history drawn from its permanent collection of more than 100,000 objects.
Galleries on two levels of a beautifully transformed 1931-era department store feature regularly changing exhibitions of industry (Russell & Co. and the Jewel automobile are highlights), sports (Tiger football, Paul Brown, and more), and photography (nationally famous works as well as local treasures).
The 100-square-foot hand-carved Immel Circus is accompanied by circus posters, photographs, costumes, and historic videos. A visit to the Massillon Museum is always free.
