Opened in 1965, this white-tablecloth restaurant located at the top of Cedar Hill (just a mile from Severance Hall in University Circle) boasts 4 private party rooms, 3 bars, an eclectic American menu, a fabulous year-round outdoor patio (heated with electric glass panels) featuring a massive waterfall and a full, moderately-priced menu available until midnight seven days/nights a week. Besides being known as one of Cleveland's most interesting restaurants for both its menu and ambiance, Nighttown is also Cleveland's premier jazz club (some call us "the Severance Hall of Jazz"), featuring national acts throughout the week. In fact, Nighttown is the only place in Ohio to be listed on Down Beat's list of the 100 Best Jazz Clubs in the World.
In addition, Nighttown is now the home of The Press Club of Cleveland, with the Press Club's Visual Archives and Press Club Hall of Fame on the walls of the restaurant.
