Pike Lake State Park is located in Pike Co. about 70 miles south of Columbus. The park is remote & peaceful, nestled in deep forest.
13-acre Pike Lake offers a sand beach. Boating is limited to non-motorized boats or boats with electric motors only. Boat rental is available. Fishing is enjoyed from shore or lake. Hunting is permitted in the adjacent state forest.
Hike 6 miles of trails, or ride your horse on bridle trails in the adjacent state forest. A picnic area has tables & grills. Programs provide entertainment all summer. The nature center has interesting displays.
Cottages are perfect for year-round getaways. 2-bedroom cottages are available year-round & have kitchens, bathroom, living room, TV, porch, outdoor grills, heat & A/C. 1-bedroom cottages have the same features, but with room dividers separating living/sleeping areas. Available April-October.
122 campsites are available with/without electric hookups. Showers available at the beach. Pets allowed on designated sites. Horseshoe pits, basketball court & baseball diamond are available for campers and cottage guests.
