This red brick house was built in 1828 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In addition to original woodwork trim and American Chestnut wood floors, one can view original early 19th century building techniques such as post and beam (mortise & tenon) joinery and observe other historic characteristic such as forged square nails and the architectual style - Federal transitioning to Greek Revival.
