A museum of fashion and decorative arts, located on the beautiful campus of Kent State University, with nine galleries featuring work by many of the world's great artists and designers. The permanent costume collection, one of the nation's largest and finest, includes more than 20,000 examples of historic and contemporary fashion spanning world cultures and several centuries from 18th to present day. The Museum also has an extensive and significant collection of decorative arts, furnishings and glass.
Open year round with exhibitions ranging from surveys of costume history to celebrity and contemporary fashions. Also serves as a teaching library and cultural resource for students and faculty of all disciplines. Easily accessible via turnpike, state route or expressway. Free parking.
