Blue Rock State Park is located in Muskingum Co., 16 miles southeast of Zanesville. The park has rugged hills and rich green forests which provide a backdrop to escape to natural solitude.
Go hiking on 3 mi. of nature trails, or horseback riding on 26 mi. of trails in the state forest (bring your own horse). Picnic areas have picnic tables and grills, along with reservable shelterhouses. Nature programs provide family entertainment all summer long.
Pitch your tent or park your RV on one of 101 non-electric campsites. Campers use the showers at the beach. Pets on a leash are permitted on designated sites. Enjoy hassle-free camping in a Rent-A-Camp tent or Camper Cabin.
15-acre Cutler Lake offers a sand beach. Enjoy laid-back boating, limited to canoeing, sailboating or boats with electric motors only. Boat rental is available. Fishing can be enjoyed from the shoreline or on the lake. Hunting is permitted in season in designated areas.
2006 Camping Fees are $14/night for non-electric sites. Rent-A-Camp is $26/night, and Camper Cabins are $25/night.
