Five Rivers Outdoors -- The Outdoor Adventure Initiative of Five Rivers MetroParks

Five Rivers Outdoors offers a new way to play for Dayton and the surrounding region. Opportunities to improve your skill level and explore outdoor pursuits such as kayaking, backpacking, rock climbing, fly-fishing, cycling and more abound through classes, trips, events and competitions.

With highly qualified instructors in a comfortable learning environment, Five Rivers Outdoors provides the opportunity to develop techniques, try out gear and practice new skills in MetroParks' beautiful settings.

Loving the outdoors is a two-way relationship that requires proper care and feeding. Five Rivers Outdoors programming strives to create lifelong environmental awareness that will intensify your appreciation for the great outdoors.

Five Rivers Outdoors strives to bring the outdoor community together through events, competitions and by building outdoor recreation facilities to make Dayton a stronger, more vibrant place to live. Five Rivers Outdoors is committed to providing healthy choices to the residents of the region.
