The Apache Tribe of Oklahoma - Tribal Complex of the Plains Apache ( Kiowa-Apache) - Located on the southeast side of Anadarko on S. H. 8 south about a quarter of a mile from the intersection of NE Seventh Street and Central Boulevard.

Delaware Tribe of Western Oklahoma - Delaware Tribal history is reflected through artifacts, artwork and resource material at their small museum.

Open: Monday through Friday 8 am-5pm. Free admission.

Wichita Tribe of Oklahoma - Wichita history is displayed through artwork, resource material and the many artifacts in rich background information.

Fort Sill Apache Tribal Complex - The late Allan Houser, who was born at Fort Sill in Lawton as an Fort Sill Apache prisoner, gave the tribe a beautifully-executed bronze sculpture of an Apache family. Houser was nationally known and lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Caddo Tribe of Oklahoma

- The tribal has a cultural museum. Located 18 miles north of Anadarko on U.S. 281, near Binger.

The Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma - The tribal has a museum that is open weekdays. Located on the west side of Carnegie on S.H. 9.

Sidewalk pavers display an Indian mosaic design of the teepee, fire and arrows representing home, warmth and protection of the home respectively.

The National Hall of Fame of Famous American Indians was established to recognize famous Indians. It was a chance to provide a portrait in bronze bust for people to touch and see the famous people in a three dimensional likeness that they read about in history books. Formed in 1952

These murals are two magnificent gifts to downtown Anadarko located on the building of The Gallery of Art which displays the works of more than 120 artists and artisans in traditional, primitive, and contemporary Native American and Southwestern art.
