Norman, Oklahoma

Located in a city park known as "Legacy Trail," the north side of the depot is now the home of the Norman Arts and Humanities Council. Grounds can be used for special events and currently display public art sculptures of bronze and wood produced by Oklahoma artists.

On the National Register of Historic Places, the Mission Revival style topped with a cross-gabled clay tile roof, typifies the county seat type of depot. The Depot is located in Norman's historic downtown area nestled among antique stores and across the street from the Sooner Theatre, a restored 1929 theater.

The south side of the depot is used as the Norman Amtrak Station. Amtrak passenger service returned to Norman in June '99. For more information on Amtrak services, call (800) USA - RAIL.
