One of the most beautiful small libraries of Oklahoma belongs to Wewoka. Founded in 1929, its architecture is reminiscent of New England. It has been recently renovated, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The library houses a fine collection of reading material, a media center, reading room, and a kitchenette which is used for special receptions.
A recently added new wing will house the library of former Wewoka, Vance Trimble, a Pulitzer Prize winning author.
