Lake Thunderbird State Park Lake Thunderbird State Park provides visitors a lakeside getaway while still within easy reach of city attractions and services. Campgrounds include Clear Bay, Indian Point, south end of Dam, South Sentinel, and Little Axe areas of Lake Thunderbird. Lake Thunderbird State Park encompasses both the north and south shores of Lake Thunderbird which can be accessed through nine entrance points: 4 at Clear Bay area on the south side, and 5 at the Indian Point area on the north.

For campers there are 21 comfort stations (15 w/showers), 29 modern RV sites with all utilities, 231 sites with water & electricity, and 291 regular campsites (no utilities). Also available are 8 one room lake huts in the Little Axe camping area, offering a view of the lake and a cross between primitive and semi-modern camping conditions. The average Price is $7.00 - $22.00, and Lake Huts $45.00 plus tax.
