With a USGA Course Rating of 69.0, this 6236 yard, par 71 / slope 117 course is open year round, seven days a week. The greens are beautifully kept throughout the year. Green fees are low and tee times are available without advanced notice.

Cart rental is $8.00 per 9 holes, and a snack bar and pro shop are on the grounds.

Daily Green Fees: $9.00 Weekdays $12.00 Weekends

Several golf tournaments are held each year at Sunset Hills, a municipally owned course.

Attractions and Upcoming Events

Guymon Wild Game Reserve

Sitting to the north of Thompson Park, across the dam, is the Guymon Game Reserve. Driving up to the reserve fence or sitting on one of the park benches, you may be able to view Aoudad sheep, llamas, buffalo, prairie dogs, African Watusi and Longhorn cattle and elk.
