The Hampton House was built in 1912 and has been featured in Southern Living and awarded the Walterborough Key Historic Property Award by the Historical Preservation Society. Walterboro is in close proximity to Charleston, Beaufort, Hilton Head and Savannah. Hampton House is located just 4 miles off Interstate 95, from either Exits 53 or 57. Offered are three lovely bedrooms with interesting antiques; private baths, and TV. Full country breakfast served in the elegant dining room or by the pool. Tennis is available at the Hampton House court; just steps from the house. The Hampton House also offers "The Forde Doll & Doll House Collection;" a rare exhibit of more than 50 dollhouses, room boxes, toy kitchens, paper dolls and antique dolls on permanent display. Private tours are available by appointment only.
