Blackmoor was built on the historic Longwood Plantation, whose heritage as a successful ante-bellum rice plantation along the majestic Waccamaw River accounts for much of its charm. The 18 championship holes exist in harmony with flowing lakes, moss-draped oaks, lofty pines, and the ever changing cypress. The scenic lay of the land is not all you'll capture. The sensation of catching a glimpse of a wild turkey, graceful deer, or alligator will take your breath away. Blackmoor, named the 2001-2002 Myrtle Beach "Golf Course of the Year," is Gary Player's only design in the Myrtle Beach area.
