SkyScapes of America

category : Other Attractions
The history of hot air ballooning had its origin in France in 1783 with modern day ballooning progressing since 1954. The Upstate of SC is quickly becoming a popular southeast destination for ballooning with its favorable flying areas and southern hospitality. Come fly the beautiful SC countryside with the state?s only full-time commercial hot air balloon ride company. While in flight for approximately one hour passengers will have a bird?s eye view of spectacular lakes, rolling hills and a profile of the Blue Ridge Mountains that are frequently a part of the flight path. Following the flight, we?ll celebrate with a champagne toast. Balloons carry 4-6 passengers each flight and advance reservations are required. The total experience will last approximately three hours. All flights are weather permitting.
