Sam Rayburn Lake Parks Sam Rayburn has thirteen developed recreation areas that are operated and managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, including : nine campgrounds, (primitive to highly developed), with more than 500 total campsites, sixteen multi-lane launch ramps, five group shelters, four picnic areas, four designated swimming areas, playground, volleyball , horseshoe and basketball facilities, interpretive trail, and more. In addition there are four outgranted marinas operated by private concessionaires.

Ebenezer Park is a developed camping area located on the south shore of Sam Rayburn Reservoir. The park is located off of Recreational Road 255, approximately 23 miles northwest of Jasper, Texas. The park contains 20 campsites, without water or electric hookups, 7 sites with 30 amp electric/water hookups and 3 sites with 50 amp electric/water hookups. The park features a designated swimming beach, drinking water, two vault-type restrooms, and one trailer dump station. The Park also contains a enclosed Day Use Group Facility. The park is closed seasonally between October 1 and March 1. Ebenezer Park is available year-round for special events such as company outings and equestrian events. Contact the Project Office at least 16 days in advance for details. OPEN MARCH - SEPTEMBER.

Etoile Park - Due to budget constraints the camping area and restroom facilities have been closed. The boat ramp complex will remain open and launching will be free of charge. The nearest Corps operated park with campsites is Hanks Creek Park.

Hanks Creek Park is a highly developed camping area located on the north-west shore of Sam Rayburn Reservoir. The park is located in Angelina County on Farm Market Road 2801, approximately 12 miles south-west of Huntington, Texas. The park contains forty-one campsites with 30 amp electrical service and water hookups and three campsites with 50 amp electrical service and water hookups. The park features a Group Shelter, volley-ball court, playground, two boat ramps, with two launching lanes each, one waterborne restroom with hot showers , two vault type restrooms, one trailer dump station, and a pay phone is also located in the Park. OPEN ALL YEAR.

Jackson Hill Banner - Due to budget constraints the Camping, Picnic and Swim Beach areas with associated facilities in Jackson Hill have been closed. The boat ramp complex will remain open and launching will be free of charge.

Marion Ferry Park is located on the west shore of Sam Rayburn Reservoir in Angelina County. The park contains one boat launch ramp with four launching lanes. The park contains no other developed facilities. CAMPING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THIS AREA. The parking area will accommodate approximately twenty vehicles with boat trailers. The nearest Corps operated park with developed camping facilities is Etoile Park. The nearest Corps park with electric and water hook-ups is Hanks Creek.

Mill Creek Park is a highly developed campground located in Sabine County, Texas. The park contains 105 campsites with 30 Amp electric and water hook-ups and 5 campsites with 50 amp electric and water hookups. The park also contains four waterborne restroom/shower buildings, one group shelter, one designated swimming beach, two playgrounds, one volley ball court, 1 horseshoe court, two trailer dump stations, one pay-phone and one boat ramp with two launching lanes. OPEN ALL YEAR.

Monterey Park is located in Angelina County approximately 6 miles north of Zavalla, Texas. The park contains one boat ramp with four launching lanes and one vault type restroom. The park contains no other developed facilities. CAMPING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THIS AREA. The parking area will accommodate approximately 36 vehicles with boat trailers. The nearest Corps operated park with developed camping facilities is Hanks Creek park. The nearest Corps park with electric and water hoop-ups is Hanks Creek.

Overlook Park is located in Jasper County, Texas on Recreation Road 255 adjacent the Project Office and Powerhouse. The park contains seven picnic sites, one waterborne restroom, one overlook shelter, and two drinking fountains. The park is closed daily at dark. NO CAMPING ALLOWED IN THIS AREA. The nearest Corps operated campgrounds are Ebenezer and Twin Dikes Parks. The nearest Corps operated campground with water and electric hook-ups is Twin Dikes Park.

Powell Park is now operated entirely by Powell Park Marina. For Information concerning camping and other facilities please contact Powell Park Marina at (409)584-2624.

Ralph McAllister Park is located on the north shore or Sam Rayburn Reservoir in Nacogdoches County. The park contains one boat launch ramp with four launching lanes and one vault type restroom. The park contains no other developed facilities. CAMPING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THIS AREA. The parking area will accommodate approximately twenty vehicles with boat trailers. The nearest Corps operated park with developed camping facilities is Etoile Park. The nearest Corps park with electric and water hook-ups is Hanks Creek.

Rayburn Park is a developed camping area located on the north shore of Sam Rayburn Reservoir. The park is located on Farm Market Road 3127, approximately 23 miles south-west of Pineland, Texas. The Park contains fourty-five campsites, eight pull-throughs with 50 Amp electric and water hookups, sixteen back-ins with 30 Amp electric and water hookups, twenty-one sites without water and electric hookups. The park also contains four day use picnic sites, one playground, one waterborne shower/restroom, two vault restrooms, one trailer dump station, and three boat launches. The camping areas containing sites 11 - 25 and 66 - 79 have been closed due to budget constraints. OPEN ALL YEAR.

San Augustine Park is a highly developed campground located in San Augustine County, ten miles north-west of Pineland, Texas. San Augustine contains one-hundred campsites with water and 30 Amp electric hook-ups. Five of these sites are tent only. The park also contains three waterborne restroom/shower buildings, one group shelter, one trailer dump station, one playground, one designated swimming area, one courtesy dock, one interpretive trail, two volleyball courts, one basketball court, one horseshoe court, and one boat ramp with four launching lanes. OPEN ALL YEAR.

Twin Dikes Park is a developed camping area located on the south shore of Sam Rayburn Reservoir. The park is located on Recreational Road 255, approximately 20 miles north of Jasper, Texas. The park contains 46 campsites, (6 sites with 30 amp electric and water, 6 sites with 30 amp electric, water and sewer, 4 sites with 50 amp electric and water, 27 sites without water or electric, and 3 sites with screened shelters, 30 amp electric, water and sewer), 2 boat ramps with 8 launching lanes, 2 waterborne restrooms with showers, 1 waterborne restroom, 1 group shelter, and 1 trailer dump station. There is a marina located adjacent to the park, (Twin Dikes Marina). OPEN ALL YEAR.
