Wright Patman Lake Boat Ramps

Wright Patman Lake has boat ramps at 6 parks. These boat ramps are of concrete construction. Courtesy docks are available at some of the boat ramps. Swimming in the vicinity of the courtesy docks is prohibited. Fishing is not allowed from the courtesy docks. A "No Wake" zone is enforced for boat ramps. All boat ramps are available year-around. All boat ramps, except Highway 59 Access, Herron Creek, and Jackson Creek require a $3.00 fee or possession of an annual pass for access. Piney Point Park has one boat ramp with six lanes of concrete construction, a courtesy dock for loading and unloading boats, and an adjacent asphalt parking area. Swimming is not permitted in the vicinity of the boat ramp. Purchase of a $3.00 boat launch permit or possession of a valid annual pass is required to access the boat ramp. The boat ramp is open from 4.30 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. March 1 through September 30. It is open 24 hours a day the remainder of the year.
North Shore Park has one boat ramp with four lanes of concrete construction, a courtesy dock for loading and unloading boats, a breakwater jetty, and an adjacent asphalt parking area. Swimming is not permitted in the vicinity of the boat ramp. Purchase of a $3.00 boat launch permit or possession of a valid annual pass is required to access the boat ramp. The boat ramp is open from 4.30 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. Apr 1 through Labor day. It is open 24 hours a day the remainder of the year.
Elliot Bluff Access has one boat ramp with two lanes of concrete construction and an adjacent asphalt parking area for vehicles with trailers. Swimming is not permitted in the vicinity of the boat ramp. There is no fee for use of this boat ramp. The boat ramp is open 24 hours a day all year.
Jackson Creek Park has one boat ramp with two lanes of concrete construction and an adjacent asphalt parking area. The boat ramp is located in a protected cove. Swimming is not permitted in the vicinity of the boat ramp. There is no fee for use of this boat ramp. The boat ramp is open 24 hours a day all year.
Herron Creek Access has one boat ramp with two lanes of concrete construction, a courtesy dock for loading and unloading boats, and an adjacent gravel parking area. The boat ramp is located in a protected cove. Swimming is not permitted in the vicinity of the boat ramp. There is no fee for use of this boat ramp. The boat ramp is open 24 hours a day all year.
Malden Lake Access has one boat ramp with two lanes of concrete construction, a courtesy dock for loading and unloading boats, and an adjacent asphalt parking area. The boat ramp is located at the upper end of Wright Patman Lake where the Sulphur River flows into the lake, which provides an opportunity for both lake and river fishing. Swimming is not permitted in the vicinity of the boat ramp. Purchase of a $3.00 boat launch permit or possession of a valid annual pass is required to access the boat ramp. The boat ramp is open 24 hours a day all year.
Highway 59 Access has one boat ramp with two lanes of concrete construction and an adjacent asphalt parking area. The boat ramp is located below the dam and provides access to the Sulphur River. There is no fee for use of this ramp. The boat ramp is open 24 hours a day all year.
