The historic Fielder house is a brick prairie-style house built in 1914 as the home of Arlington community leader James Park Fielder. It was the center of a 214 acre farm which contained groves of live oaks, fruit orchards, and vegetable gardens. Permanent exhibits include a turn-of-the-century barbershop, a general store, bedroom, and a basement with a root cellar that includes a laundry and train exhibit. There are other exhibits of Arlington residents and the area's history, plus special traveling exhibits.
