8:00 pm at the Charleston Municipal Auditorium. The wit and songs of the great Groucho Marx. Frank Ferrante has played Groucho more than 2,000 times — in New York, London and on PBS. His portrayals brought him the New York Theatre World Award, the Connecticut Critics Circle Award and nominations for the Laurence Olivier and Helen Hayes Awards. Mr. Ferrante enters the stage as himself and becomes Groucho before our eyes. He involves the audience in his performance, as did Groucho on numerous occasions. He showcases two acts of the best of Groucho and reacquaints us with legends of the era, including Charlie Chaplin, W.C. Fields and Greta Garbo.
