Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon

Walker start at 7:30am, Wheelchairs at 7:45am, Half Marathon at 8:00am, in downtown Parkersburg and is the national championship for the Road Runner's Club of America. The rolling course will take you out of the city and into the scenic surroundings of West Virginia before looping back into the commercial area. You will finish the race to the cheers of thousands of spectators lined up on Market Street prior to the Parkersburg Homecoming Festival Parade.


For a shorter race, take part in our growing two-mile event starting at 8:05 a.m. Children will have their chance to cross the finish line during the News and Sentinel Tiny Tot and Junior Races on Aug. 20.
