For the first time in Shinnston, the city park will be transformed into a spooky town for its youngsters to enjoy.

Starting at 4pm and lasting until 9pm the park will play host to ghouls and goblins of all ages. So welcome to Halloween Town, and expect to be entertained by haunted hayrides, Frankenstein’s Lab, and the Wooded Witches Tour through the park.

Shinnston City-Wide Yard Sale

8:00 am - 1:00 pm.
Yard sale and food.
Admission: Free.
Maps are created of the town and they list many of the yard sales. Maps are a fundraiser for the Lords Pantry Food Bank. Free maps are available in area businesses.
The city is one massive yard sale!

Annual Shinnston Community Band Independence Concert at Shinnston City Park. Concert starts at 7:00pm followed immediately by 45 minutes of Fireworks sponsored by the Shinnston Area Development Foundation.

Second Saturday in December from 6pm to 9pm The congregations of the Shinnston Parish create a series of live tableaux to tell the story of the Nativity.
