The event will be held in the historic business district, Alderson Alumni Park, and on the Alderson Memorial Bridge.
Plans include having street vendors, bake sales, Indian dancers, an arts and crafts display from the Federal Prison Camp, historic displays, free music performances in the Tom Housby Memorial Gazebo, costumed re-enactors, wine tasting by Watt’s Roost Vineyard, and much, much more.
Visitors can buy food from the vendors or bake sales and enjoy it on the banks of the Greenbrier River or strolling through town.
The festival will be on the Monroe county side in the historic business district. It will be held from 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, October 6.
