Showcasing the colorful beauty and explosive power of Afro-Brazilian drum and dance, Nego Gato Music and Dance Ensemble’s performances feature Dances of the Orixas (Forces of Nature), the stick and machete wielding Maculele and the show-stopping acrobatic Capoeira. Closing with an onstage “Samba Party”, this show is sure to have everyone dancing in the aisles.
Offered the second Tuesday of the month, this series of free concert/lectures featuring the great composers of classical music will be performed by Fran Belin on Carnegie Hall's Steinway concert grand piano. Bring a lunch and enjoy 30
