Ongoing from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m Learn how to tap maples and enjoy a pancake breakfast with fresh maple syrup- straight from the Oglebay sugar bush. This hands-on experience demonstrates various methods of tapping maples, collecting sap and making syrup. From methods used by Native Americans and early American pioneers to current pipeline techniques, the history of maple sugaring is also discussed. Admission is $7 and includes a pancake breakfast.
