Beginning at 9:00am with the official premiere of the "West Virginia Encyclopedia.
Activities will continue throughout the day culminating with an afternoon Tea and musical entertainment from 3:00pm - 5:00pm.
Activities include: Children's parlor games, true stories about slaves who tried to escape to freedom before the end of the Civil War, a photo booth where visitors can have their pictures taken in authentic Civil War costumes.
The actual Birthday celebration will start at 12:05 on the front lawn.

A temporary exhibit that looks at the movies and toys that have become a part of American culture, on the event of the 30th anniversary of the release of the original "Star Wars" movie in 1977!
Open 7 days a week, from 9:00am to 5:00pm (closed on major holidays).
