"The Bloody Year" Our summer season opening festival; this year remembering the bloody attacks of 1756 on Hampshire County and the building of our settler's forts. Demonstrations by Artisans for Fort Edwards, displays, reenactors, music - bring an instrument, weaver, land surveyor, Conestoga Wagon. Food and beverages available. Outdoor activities free; museum fee: $3 adults; $1 children 6-12 years; under six free.

The Colonial Fest is an annual event, sponsored by the Fort Edwards Foundation, that invites the people of our region to learn about our colonial history. There will be a history symposium followed by a dinner with early American food. Tickets are available through the website and local businesses.<
