Helvetia - Feast of Sankt Nickolaus Celebration

The Helvetia Swiss Mountain Retreat at Granpa John's Hilltop Family Farm hosts the celebration.

Friday evening warm up with winter foods and hot wine around the warm fire. Saturday morning Swiss holiday traditional cookies and sweets will be prepared by Zurich-born Peter Schaeffer at Saturday's workshop in Grandpa John's Helvetia Kitchen.

Mrs. Schaffer will show us how to bake a special Children's favorite, Swiss holiday tradition, called "Grittibaenz" Saturday night, swing your partner at Helvetia's First Saturday of the Month Square Dance at Helvetia's Community Hall then snuggle up in one of our Farm House guest rooms.
