Intermediate to advanced birders can contribute to our knowledge of migrating birds in Tucker County. Participants spend the day counting total species and numbers of migrating birds along designated routes. Pre-registration is required. Dawn to Dusk.
Family Trail Days Enjoy the annual 8 mile guided hike between Blackwater Falls State Park and Canaan Valley Resort State Park through Canaan Mountain. Shuttle service to Blackwater Falls SP available in the morning and a cook-out lunch is included at the halfway point.
