Glide, Oregon is a small city located in Douglas County. It boasts a population of 2,400 people who are proud to call it home. Glide is surrounded by nature and has plenty of outdoor activities for visitors and locals alike to enjoy.

The city is also home to the restored Glide Depot which was an important stop on the Southern Pacific Railroad line from Roseburg to Myrtle Creek.
Glide also has plenty of fun events for locals and visitors alike. Every July, locals celebrate "Sodaville Days" with a carnival, parade and other activities throughout the weekend on Main Street. In October, you can enjoy "AppleFest" - an annual celebration with food vendors, live music and more! There are also weekly Farmer’s Markets held at Glide Memorial Park that feature products grown locally.
