Historic Downtown District

Lodgepole Depot Museum

The community's railroad heritage is reflected in this local history museum. The museum is a restored Union Pacific Depot and displays horse buggies, antique furniture, historical clothing, and more.

Andrew Carnegie awarded the city of Sidney $6,500 for the construction of this library which served Sidney from 1914 to 1965

Christ Episcopal Church

The Christ Episcopal Church was built in 1866 as the original church of Fort Sidney. This unique church blends past and present. Today parishioners worship where Indians and frontiersman came together in a spirit of love and cooperation.

Potter Depot Museum

The UP depot was moved back to Potter in 1991. After much restoration, it was opened to the public in 1996. It houses UP Railroad memorabilia as well as an agricultural room and other items. It is open by appointment only as well as special events in Potter.
