This March, be ready for mouth-watering barbeque at the Annual Mitchell Company BBQ Championship & Hog Wild Festival benefiting United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile. Enjoy everything from competitive cooking and eating, to live music and a Mardi Gras parade!

Voted the 2005 Spirit of Barbecue Event of the Year by the readers of National Barbecue News, the BBQ Championship features nearly 100 teams from across the country who compete in eight different contests, trying to win a share of over $15,000 in prize money.

All proceeds of the event benefit United Cerebral Palsy, one of Mobile's oldest and most respected organizations. UCP provides services to over 700 families throughout south Alabama each month. In its first two years, the Mitchell Company BBQ Championship & Hog Wild Festival raised over $50,000 for UCP.
