Enjoy the splendor of historic Five Star Plantation during Lake Martin area's premier event, The Grand Weekend. This 5,200-acre sportsman's paradise plays host to a weekend of sporting tournaments, and exciting evening festivities. For the ultimate outdoor enthusiast, we offer a fishing tournament, skeet shoot championship and mini field trial. Social events include a barbecue bash, and the much anticipated Grand Ball. A quail brunch will be served Sunday morning for guests lodging on the Plantation grounds. Hosted by the Alexander City Chamber of Commerce, The Grand Weekend promises healthy competition, family adventure and genteel Southern hospitality.
