Stroll about the historic antebellum town of Lowndesboro and enjoy the following events:
~ An Antiques & Collectibles Sale in the restored CME Church. Paintings, prints, furniture, china, glass & silver items will be for sale. Opens @ 9 a.m.
~A Barbeque Chicken lunch plate will be served between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Marengo Plantation for $10.00. Tickets may be obtained in advance. Takeouts or available or plan to eat at Marengo.
~A Country Store will be housed in the St. Paul's Episcopal Church Parish House. Homemade pickles, preserves & relishes, baked goods, frozen casseroles, Easter baskets, arts & crafts items and plants will be for sale. Opens @ 10 a.m.
~Four Lowndesboro Churches built in the 1800's will be open for viewing.
~Visit the newly restored Lewis-Smith Cemetery where many of the founders of Lowndesboro are buried.
Proceeds go to the historic preservation of Lowndesboro's Landmarks.
