Event Details
This year the Annual Kids Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday at Quarry Park just below Norfork Lake Dam. Each year ,over 400 kids participate in this event with activities that range in age from 2 -18 years old. The event is free and fun for the entire family with the Norfork Hatchery producing much of the fun by stocking trout in both the portable pools for kids under the age of 5 and also Dry Run Creek. Broken up into three separate age groups, there are prizes for every child with trophies awarded to the biggest fish and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each age group. Lunch is provided by TLC Bank and the event is free to all youth!
