Youth In The Arts, one of the only youth run non-profit organizations in Connecticut, is now accepting submissions to the 5th Annual Stratford Film Festival.

Films must be postmarked by July 1, 2009 and must be accompanied with a submission form. Submission forms can be found at www.YouthInTheArts.org/FilmFestival. All materials must be mailed to "The Stratford Film Festival, 320 Keating Dr, Stratford, CT 06614."

The 5th Annual Stratford Film Festival will be held on Friday, July 24 at the Stratford Library and Saturday, July 25 at the Stratford Theatre. Both nights will feature different film selections, with an audience-selected award for "Best Picture" ceremony on Saturday.

Youth in the Arts is a grassroots movement made up of college and high school students, college graduates, and a few adults - People who are passionate about the arts; people who want to make a difference. People who want to change the way that our communities view the arts. Our mission is to provide Young Adults with positive, engaging, and educational experiences in the arts and to revitalize the participation in and appreciation of the arts.
